Mission: NBC Digital Toss promos drive viewers to visit nbc.com for program-specific features such as trivia, limited-edition products, blogs, contests and behind the scenes exclusives.
Solution: As an artist, I am given a pre-mixed audio track, and anywhere from 4 hours to 2 days to complete the entire 10 second promo. I utilize green screen and rotoscoped talent assets in a graphically suggested minimalist environment, utilizing simple floor and wall planes to create the illusion of dimension and camera space. The typography is timed to the voiceover, and reflects what the statement is saying through both the actions of the type and the interaction with the talent.
